How exactly do you mount it then? I suppose the two fans in the actual cage and the rad hanging? won't it touch the RAM?

And a RV03 with 7 120mm fans + the 2 180mm fans, will beat a RV02-E/FT02 with 1 120mm fan + the 3 180mm fans?

so a fully decked out RV03 vs fully decked out RV02-E/FT02?

I'm getting my H70 and RV03 tomorrow, I'll answer this.

Here are some admittedly crappy shots of how my H60 is installed, I plan on just leaving the bottom of the H100 hanging when I get one. I also plan on grinding those stupid little plastic tabs off the fan bracket and mounting the radiator to that side, I would of had a much easier time installing the H60 had I done so from the start.

I think your experience will be dependent on your particular hardware. I'm not sure anyone could answer this definitively without testing the specific hardware you plan on putting in.

That seems.. weird.

The fan in the back seems like it wouldn't do much of anything. Wouldn't it be better to have that fan mounted behind, and the rad and other fan on the outside?

I mean, then you're still getting the efficient P/P, and it doesn't take up that much more space?

Just wonderin'. Was gonna put my slip stream in the back there to push cool air into the push fan.

EDIT: Wait, I think I see what you're doing, but the pictures are confusing. Is the rad actually inside the HDD cage? Or am I crazy?

And the push fan seems next to useless, I'd think a normal CFM fan would be better at that distance.

Eh, I'll test all this in a few hours anyways. Well hopefully, according to Amazon my H70 is still in Indianapolis.

Yup, it is inside the HDD cage, when you go to mount the radiator to the fan bracket you will know why I wish I had cut off those stupid plastic tabs. I had a couple YL D12SM, so decided to put them to work.

It looks like an optical drive wouldn't fit in the top 5.25" slot with your current setup, or with a H100. The tubes at the top of the rad look like they are in the way. Is that why you don't have one installed?

What plastic tabs are you referring to?
I was lazy and never installed a drive when I moved over to the RV-03. I think by reinstalling after removing the plastic posts, and installing in the bottom instead of the top, there would be room for my optical drive and possibly even drive cages. On the "flat" side of the fan mounting bracket are 6 plastic "posts", I call them tabs. It took me a good 20-30 minutes of trial and error to get to where I am at now, it is doable, just not easy.

I still dont think a H100 will fit with an optical drive because the tubes have to come out at the top and that will probably block the optical drive from going in. If you can fit an optical drive with the way your H60 is currently mounted, then a H100 should fit without a problem.
