I know that the cable can be lengthened, by removing a twist tie, but i was wondering if it'll be enough. its likely I'll buy the case tonight if I find out it'll fit..thumb.gif

Thanks Balthazor, for the very in-depth review, i really am considering this case, for some reason, the styling struck a chord somewhere, i quite like it. I'll probably end up removing the window, and mounting it so that it is flush with the side of the case, from the inside. i suspect some measuring and sanding will be in order... wink.gif

I own the case, and have followed this thread from the beginning so I can answer your question, I see no reason that your PSU would not work. All but the very earliest cases sold have a much longer PSU cable that you won't even need to remove a twist tie to get to fit anywhere you could need it to. Check out the FT04 from Silverstone that should be released shortly, I still like my case but had both been available at the same time I would've probably gotten the FT04.

Have fun with whichever one you choose.

Any idea whether the upcoming swiftech h20-220 would fit in the front drive cages? H100 would fit if you can live without the optical drive, right?

If the swiftech uses a 240 rad like the h100, then yes it will fit, I have a 240rad in my drive bays for my custom loop

I was wondering if the RV03 would alleviate the problem of heavy coolers sagging the PCB. Although a great card, the Sapphire 7970 Vapor Ghz that I own is beginning to show some sagging near the end of the card. Also, would my card get better cooling compared to my HAF 922 with a 90-degree mounting system, and how about if I decide to crossfire in the future with another Vapor.

Currently looking for a new case right now and narrowed my choices to the RV02, RV03, and FT02. I love how the aesthetics of the raven cases match that of the Sapphire Vapor 7970 too smile.gif

ya the 90 degree flipped mobo will get rid of sagging issues. as far as choosing between the RV02, RV03 and FT02, there all good choices, the RV02/FT02 cool abit better then the RV03, but the RV03 layout is so much better in my opinion with hidden HDDs and PSU
