I bought this Keyboard should i Change it?

I bought Logitech G510
2l9tnk2.jpg

The LCD is usefull with its clock, calendar and RSS feeds
but thats it i was disapointed how dimm the light is
I use Red lights keyboard to go with my HAF-X and my Razer Naga molten red light mouse.
so keyboards i buy need option for red backlight

I compared it to my recent Saitek Cyborg 7 that look terific
and asked myself this "Why did i buy the logitech G510?"
2ewnuhd.jpg

I closed the windows (it was still day) turn off the light to make my room totaly dark and hoped for better result
better it was but still Saitek for the win

I though Logitech 510 would be my primary keyboard but now it might end up being my secondary

What should i do should i Return it.

It costed me around 80 euro and shipping is around 10-15 euro
i have to pay shipping back i think since is not faulty

i have 5 days left to try it

I feel like i should return it and put the money in something more useful as a better UPS or better speaker or even an extra mouse....

Only reason that so far is making me keep it is
incase the saitek break i have a decent remplacement keyboard

Man, the Saitek keyboard is so much better the design placed right under an Alienware 2310 monitor is just epic it blow you away

So what should I do
Change the Logitech or what?

Thing is i dont have so many other option
I looked for other Red led lights keyboard and there is no other as good as saitek cyborg 7

I dont just want it to come to that i flushed 80 euro down the drain
because of a keyboard i might end up using little...
granted the Logitech is somehow smaler/thinner or something thats cool
that , the screen and that scrollwheel thats it.

other thing i dont like with the logitech is there is a bunch of LCD apps that runs in the background of my pc dont like that...

Now IS there a way to set that scrollwheel to work so i can scroll webpage
then it would be totaly cool
but i think it can only be used for volume....

The volume controll on the saitek is quite cool is touch

Guess its preference; I like the G510's light intensity better.

From your post I would say you have a clear winner with the Saitek. (And little LCD screens are a gimmic tongue.gif)

All about preference man, do what you feel. Do you like the way one feels to type on more than the other, do you like the functionality of one more than the other, etc.

Like you said, you still have five days to make a final decision.

Also another + for the Saitek is it can be used with Ps3
the Logitech 510 while you can use it on ps3
you cant change the color from the default white unless plugged to a pc
and the screen logo on all the time....

but is not a problem since i also have the saitek
is just i thinking if I just spent money on something i might not need....

by watching on youtube i found many recomend logitech keyboards
and not so many saitek so i though maybe saitek was not so good for gaming... so i though to get a logitech if it was better...
Also i though would be good have a reserve keyboard like using logitech as primary keyboard
and saitek as reserve (well now is like other way around)

I didnt expect the light be so bad...
sure some people that dont like being distracted by light (not my case)
might like the logitech light better since is dimmer

okey i can live with it if playing in a dark room by night
but on day is useless can aswell turn the light off
