People mostly say MX Blues are bad for FPS gaming it seems.
Personally, I think that WoW or SC2 would pair up quite nicely with a mechanical keyboard, regardless of switch type.

I use a Das Ultimate with MX Blues and I have had zero problems or complaints in FPS, RTS, MMORPG, racing, etc.

im using it with every kind game. feel alot better than normal keyboard,
just those F key position shifted to the right side feels abit weird while i using those key in game, and the sound abit loud if you don't mind. i love it

WoW and SC2 would actually be better for a Cherry MX Blue than the so called gaming swtiches.

I have a Blackwidow and I absolutely love it. The MX Blue switches are fantastic for typing and honestly, I love them for FPS' (I play TF2 a lot and LoL on the occassion). I came from an ABS M1 (it broke because I spilled milk in it haha), but yeah. I've noticed that a lot of the new "Gamer keyboards" are coming out with MX Blues versus the other ones (like the ones marketed for SC2 players and whatnot). To be honest it probably doesn't matter THAT much, but I can tell you that I absolutely love the MX Blues for FPS gaming.

The Blackwidow is like a great bang for your buck ($70-80; I wouldn't get the ultimate since the backlit keyboard + usb ports don't justify that $40 increase in price).

I am currently using a Das S Ultimate with no key markings and love it. I get so much more satisfaction out of typing. Not to mention, key response in FPS games went up a bit in comparison to my old G15.

You can certainly use a blue keyboard for gaming, but any decent rubber dome keyboard would be better..

If you want to go mechanical and you are a gamer, a brown or a clear keyboard is surely a better option.

No one really makes boards with clears apart from Deck. You can find old boards with them on ebay, but they are usually old weird cherry boards. Personally I'd rather any Cherry MX switch over any "good" rubber dome.

When it comes to switches, which seems to be your main concern, it's all a matter of preference. I think all the Cherry MX switches are very similar, and have very slight differences that set them apart. They are just little tweaks that you may like one more than the other.

There's nothing weird on the cherry boards, they lack the retroillumination, thats all.

I can't agree at all, there are huge differences, blacks are good for gaming but IMHO are absolutely awful for other uses,
browns and clears are in the middle and going with the former or the latter is just matter of personal preference,
blues are the best for typing but the mechanical hysteresis makes them not well suited to fast double/multiple tapping, and the noise they produce is pleasant for the keyboard user but annoying for the nearby people.

When your board has a card slider and odd layout, I'd say it's weird. Also this just proves my point that it's just preference. I like them all, and you seem to not. Nothing is fact here, it's what you like, and what you don't.
