There's only one problem: it's based on the AMD Nile Platform. The config. that uses this exact CPU gets less than four hours of battery, which completely defeats (for me, anyway) the whole point of a netbook or ultraportable.

For $400, the only real decent thing you can get is an HP dm1z It's $20 over budget, but MUCH more powerful than the netbook you linked to and gets much higher battery life at 6:30. To get it for $420, add it to cart and put SAVE30HP as the coupon code.

Over your budget by $50, but it's the same style as the one you picked, with the faster AMD E-350 APU.

Other than that, I would agree with the above poster, not too many more choices. I'm in the same boat between this one and the x120e myself.

What are you going to be using it for ?
For me, I'd never have a Netbook without long life battery and an integrated webcam, but thats just me.
But if you can squeeze out an extra 50$, i'd definitely agree with Shooter.
if not, go with the one you posted, considering 2GB of RAM isnt easy to come by for under 400$.
