Thread Starter
Hello Overclock.net! Im new to over clocking and I want to get some feedback on where I need to go and how to get more out of my system. I just built my first PC and my motherboard (ASrock) came with Turbo 50 which automatically overclocks to 40% or 50% system performance...but its never stable. Read some threads on here, changed some things and I just got done running prime 95 64 bit blend tests for 12 hours and no issues. Hope this picture shows what it needs. Let me know if you need for info..thank you everyone!!

Ohm!

Generally speaking an "x3" CPU is not going to be top of the line OC-able.
Just because it doesn't lock up the moment the clock speed is indicated doesn't mean it can do the clock speed.

I'd assume the overclock is too high and cooling may be an issue.
(CPUs with cores in lock-down have uneven heating)
Think "supercharger on a yugo with a flat tire and bad brakes".

Yeah... um.... don't use those OC features that come with the motherboard
Ever

^This.
OC features aren't as good as using the BIOS to overclock.
Moar cores!
