First of all, chill on the triple bump. Not everyone's awake yet besides the fact that it's Sunday.

Second of all, you're trying to buy a headset that is SERIOUSLY low quality and is the epitome of gimmicky. No one on this thread supports that headset, so the answer is no. Don't buy them. Your money would seriously be better spent buying a pair of headphones with a desktop mic or clip on mic instead. You won't be able to use your newegg giftcard, but I guarantee you not only will you get better sound for your money, but you will enjoy the headphones for music as well as gaming.

At your price range, I would look into buying

s from Amazon for 34 dollars and a USB Logitech Mic for 7 bucks. That would be even cheaper than your horrible Creative Fatal1ty headset that you were going to buy. That is my suggestion and likely everyone elses.

If this is for gaming on the PC, I would also recommend you get some form of sound card. If you're on a super tight budget, even a Xonar DG would be a worthy investment over on board. The difference is pretty significant for gaming.

At your price range, I would look into buying JVC RX700s from Amazon for 34 dollars and a USB Logitech Mic for 7 bucks. That would be even cheaper than your horrible Creative Fatal1ty headset that you were going to buy. That is my suggestion and likely everyone elses.

Simca always seems to beat me to it. I could not have said this any better myself. There is no reason to waste your money on something that you will inevitably replace because of the lack of quality.

The RX700's are an excellent choice. However, if you wish to use something other than USB for a mic, look at the Zalman Clip-On for $7 on amazon as well. It plugs into the standard mic jack on the motherboard.

Your both absolutly right. but i have a 10 dollar girft card and 20% off creative line of headsets. Basicly im saying i need a headset off new egg and which should i get. Cause these 2 tactics 3d and the fataility both come to 30 bucks after discounts. so im basicly asking if for that price is that the best one on the site to choose from ??

I would ignore the 20% Creative offering and use the gift card for the mic. Than pickup the RX700's of Amazon. That 20% discount is useless if the headphones you buy are terrible and break in under 6 months time anyways.

There are but none by Creative. The only Creative branded headphones that's worth buying is the Creative Aurvana Live (OEM'ed Denon D1001). Newegg don't stock it.
