Motherboard's failing, so I'm abandoning AMD, need advice on 1155 setup

Ok, so I've already decided that I'm going with the 2500k unless I can find a major sale on the 2600k, but I can't really decide on motherboard or ram. (Everything else will carry over from current build)

Seeing as it's a Gigabyte board that's failing (details), I'm weary of going with another, and the UD5 appears to be feature light in comparison to equal priced boards. I'm preferential towards Asus overall so all things equal, they'll get the nod.

My current choices are Asus Sabertooth /P67 Deluxe /MSI P67A-GD80 /ASRock Fatal1ty P67:

Then I'd need solid RAM to go along with it, I'm not really sure that I need 8GB, but that would allow me to disable my page file in comparison to 4GB. I mostly do gaming on this computer, but I do occasionally work in 3ds Max (3d modeling) on it. Currently, my HD is my boot drive, but that will be changing to my 30GB once the semester is over and I can afford a mistake (ie lost data).

Looking through the available combos, http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboD...t=Combo.633640 looks like an amazing deal, anyone believe there's better price/performance at this price range? I would prefer to keep the whole upgrade cpu/mobo/ram under $500. I'll be getting the 2500k from Microcenter so that'll cost me $195 after tax. I haven't used the whole free 2-day shipping thing on Newegg yet, so no need to consider shipping costs.

Also, just to be sure, the 212+ is better than the stock 2500k cooler, right?
