first off welcome to OCN

second, that board looks nice for Intel how does it OC?

third, while the h70 is water and cools fairly well, there might be better air options for that price.

But it's a shark! Sharks needs water!

Not a bad looking case. Certainly not a common one either around these parts

I've read a lot of reviews of this mobo and they all say it's one of the best Sandy Bridge boards out there and good for OC too. The board was actually made by Asus for the Intel.

Intel also made a very nice program called Intel Extreme Tuning Ulitility for overclocking, which comes with a lot of settings, stress test, temperature graphs, fan speeds etc.

I've OC-ed my 2600K to 4GHz for now, because of the stock cooler and I think it could do more, but I will rather wait for a better cooler. Full load temperature is around 70 degrees.

Yes, I know that there are a lot of better coolers for that price, but I'm not an extreme overclocker so I choose the H70 more because of the looks than performance. It will do just fine for my needs. redface.gif
