None are as cheap, not even the ASROCK one. Here is a link to the GXE: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...tar%20ta890gxe

Okay the feedback on that link u provided are showing some trouble for flashing BIOS, is this issue of USB not working for flashing BIOS without windows installed there with rev5.2 boards.

Also a bit skeptical since i see that u are also using this board, people tend to get biased towards the board they are using, this board has been out for quite long, still the market for it doesn't look to have picked up, maybe there are better options in that budget range ???

Also i am using NZXT phantom cabinet fo this and this worries me "There are only 3 fan connections (That is simply not enough. one for the CPU, one for the PSU, and only 1 for the case?!)" and this "When I connected additional 120mm case fans it would just run them at max rpm no matter what I did"

ALso this worries me "Apparently only version 5.2 (the latest version) has the ACC feature and ability to lock/unlock cores."

Does this mean i will have only 1 fan working in my case and that too running at max without any option to regulate the speed ? Will need to invest in splitters in that case

Also i want more phases preferably 8+2 since 555 BE is known for core stability issues, you also want a 8 pin CPU aux power input for your mobo as well for serious overclocking

Any more sugestions guys, any from the gigabyte or asus lineup which is better than GXE and i was reading some more reviews of the GXE, it does say that it OC's pretty nicely even with a 4+1 phase, although it's a good 4+1 and more always isn't better, but can someone enlighten whether i will be able to connect my 6 cabby fans since there are only 3 ports for connecting fans on the GXE mobo. Also phantom has an inbuilt fan regulator for all it's 6 fans, so i want to be able to use that feature and regulate my fan speeds, apparently this mobo just runs the fan at full rpm, wondering if the cabby's regulators will supersede the mobo's setup.
