wasn't it already tested that the best way to properly stress these SB chips Prime Blend test is the way to go?

No that was before the avx instructions set was released. If you go to the thread Sandy Bridge Stable Club or whatever its called you'll see in the op that they mention avx ibt stress harder but for some reason they still use prime blend.

Now think about this, if your trying to put as much stress as possible on your CPU to see if its stable why would you use the weaker program? It doesn't make any sense plus its a waste of time. Ill do 20 passes of avx ibt in 10 minutes and see if I'm stable or ill waste 12 hours running prime blend. Which would you do?

You misunderstood. I was agreeing with your point and saying that the OP's isn't golden

Just accept you have a crappy cpu, or get hit by a car. Either of these scenarios will make me happy.

Put up or shut up, lets see a screen shot of 20 runs of avx ibt, with cpuz open and your name in a word doc.

Lol, as far as i know prime stresses harder than IBT...even with AVX. It's just temps go higher. It's the same. IBT catches something prime doesnt, prime catches something IBT doesnt, you'd need a combination.

and also, lmao @ 66C. Weak. it's not the same as your old quad core. do some research. 66 is nothing.

I had 2 i7 950's and with the same Voltage they performed 250mhz diff. so "bad aint really bad".
So its 4.55Ghz and 4.3Ghz OC is 4.3 bad ?
But you cant call it "no so good batch" or can we ?
