Don't get LED, they're a big scam. Get an IPS monitor. Get this: http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&cs=19&sku=320-9270&baynote_bnrank=1&baynote_irrank=0&~ck=baynoteSearch

An IPS is so much better than TN.

LED isn't a scam. It has potential. But as it stands now, LED doesn't matter. CCFL backlighting is often much much better.

And that IPS is not in his budget. At his budget, we shouldn't really even suggest anything. Everything he can get at 200 max dollars is absolute crap, unless dell has one of their sales again.
