It's not the game that supports it, it's Nvidia/AMD with SLI/CF profiles. AFAIK, they have had their profiles out for a long time. I just fired up the game and saw equal (albeit low) usage on both of my cards, without any tweaking to NVCP or the like.
I maybe point out the obvious here but SLI/CF only works on full screen not any of the windowed modes right now something i did not notice when i was doing wrong as i was on fullscreen windowed

Well they did say they were using Dx11 only to help improve performance not to increase graphics quailty...like after the 1st patch Cata got and hell does the game even use more then 2 cores anymore cause when i played back in may last year my quad never went above 40% load which would mean pretty much a dual core is sufficent. Even when I tweaked the cores it would use it still didnt do a freaking thing to increase nothing but a waste of time.

Even tho i know SB gets better performance for Cata and it likes FAST cpus...the amount of cores doesnt seem to matter still...BOOOO BLIZZARD!!!!

False. The network has nothing to do with fps lag. If the network doesn't provide your PC with character information, your PC will simply assume there has been no new information about the game and proceed to render the last known packet. You can pull out your ethernet cable during your game, and your character will simply keep running forward but your fps won't lag.

The main cities lag is caused by HDD, when your PC tries to upload all the armor and weapon models. SSD Drives reporting huge increases in city performance.

No, WoW is weird. There is something in the game that ties the FPS to the network latency. Google it.

I was running in borderless windowed mode, both GPU's were at work.

Actually, I'm pretty sure that's incorrect. Your computer will continue to render the current state of the game, whether the latency is problematic or not. It's the same reason why I saw no drops in FPS back when my ISP was having issues in our neighborhood, and my latency would spike from <200ms to >1000ms.

I suggest you provide evidence instead of saying to "Google it", especially when your argument goes against the norm.

So is this merely stating that DX11 which is already in Cataclysm will now be available as a clickable option inside the GUI versus having to add the flag manually?

Or are they saying that they are actually patching in FURTHER DX11 effects than what is currently in Cataclysm? From my understanding the effects aren't game wide?

It was experimental before, so my intuition tells me that this is a further developed and tested implementation. I doubt that they would simply make the old option available in-game, since it often did not work properly or introduced more problems.

That makes sense - will be interested in hearing what is going on as far as actual implementation.

I've tryed different rig for wow and here is the result.
i5 750 @ 4.0ghz + Spinpoint F3 + 5850 : Mid air main orgr auction house : 43 fps (10 seconds to load)
i5 750 @ 4.0ghz + SSD + 5850 : Mid air main orgr auction house : 45 fps (1 second to load)
i7 2600k + 5850 Mid air main orgr auction house : 47 fps (8 seconds to load)
i7 2600k + gtx 570 Mid air main orgr auction house : 55 fps (almost instant)

WoW is dependant on GPU and HDD speed.
Cpu helps (mere 4 fps difference)

The most amazing upgrade for wow is a SSD.
Loading are wayyyy faster.
