im looking to buy a SSD for my build. its going to be for win7 and some programs. im thinking like 120gb would be good then i can get another one down the road, i already have 2tb for everything else. basically im not sure which one to go with bc of all the mixed reviews, so is there one brand thats more prone to not failing then another? ive been looking at the intels and ocz ones and im just not sure. advice and help is welcomed and links as well. thanks.

I just recently jumped the ssd boat and I went with Crucial C300 128GB ( form the reviews I saw they had very high 4k random reads ( most important for the os) and it has been nothing but amazing! windows boots in about 1-20 seconds! i have heard some issues with every brand but more so with the ocz drives ( may be because I was originally researching for the vertex 2 ) but I do know they changed the vertex 2 line so they are a little slower and formatted capacity is less than it used to be due to the use of 25nm nand chips instead of 34nm chips.. I hope this helps you

Crucial, Corsair and Intel are all good brands. OCZ has been having problems with the switch to 25nm chips. G.Skill and Mushkin have good drives too, so pick something in a good price range for you, like this.
