Looking for a wireless mouse - help?

Thread Starter
I'm currently using a Logitech G9x I bought used, and it works fine, but the cable is always getting in the way (just like my wired headphones, which I'll also be replacing for wireless), and because I no longer really play multiplayer or ever play on harder difficulties, I don't really need a mouse like a G9x. I have no idea what I want to get anymore, though. I do have some requirements:
-USB receiver isn't bulky - I'd like one of those "mini" receivers so I can use it with my laptop and not worry about it snapping off by accident or something
-No buttons on the right side (such as on some Razer mice) - my ring/pinky finger is too weak to properly make use of said buttons
-No awkward back/forward button placement - some Logitech mice (such as the G700) I've seen have them next to the left of the left-click button, on the same "level," or cluster the buttons on the side way too close/awkwardly...and I've tried it at a store, but it's not something I can get used to
-Preferably plain rechargeable batteries rather than a dock/base for recharging
-Battery life longer than 12 hours - I've heard the RAT 9 has a pretty wimpy battery life, so something like that would be out

And a keyboard/mouse combo is welcome, but as I mentioned with the mouse, no bulky/"full-size" USB receivers.

Since you like smaller sized mice, I would recommend the Naga Epic.. if you want to extend the battery life change the report rate to 500Hz and turn off the LED.. This doubles the usage from from 14hrs, at least it does on my Mamba.

Im actually also on a mouse quest and I really love the grip and click feeling on the Logitech G9 the only thing I hate about it is the scroll wheel, pretty much you need to be the incredible hulk to just click it!

I've really spent and wasted a LOT Of money on mices.. All wireless mices I've tried didnt really give me a great satisfaction that the G9 gives, I've went with G700,Mamba and X8.. I dunno if the Roccat Pyra (wireless) is even worth trying out but its small, it uses a micro-receiver.

I have naga epic since first released.
Turn off light, 1000mhz, battery life last about 20hrs to me.
Including watch movies, surfing, adobe suite, bc2, mw2, arma2 swiping on hard pads.
This is my first wireless mouse, so I can't help much, sorry

Not a lot to choose from as far as wireless gaming mice are concerned, and two of the best (Mamba and Sidewinder X8) have large receiver/recharge stations. G700 has the smallest receiver of all. If you're willing to accept lower polling rates, you might take a look at a Logitech MX1100 or Performance MX.

Like EarlZ, I've been on a mouse quest lately. So far I'm happiest with the Mamba but it's a personal preference. I haven't tried the Naga or RAT9 and the design of the G700 just doesn't appeal to me.

I think I might go with the Naga Epic, I could use a numpad since my M11x doesn't have one.

IIRC it has right-side buttons right? Those would be useless to me =/
