LLC reduces vdroop on load, so was that 1.35 in the bios or under load?

Well "air" , i am using Corsair H50 in push/pull, the temps were at that point after just a few passes, would have raised quite some more i think.

The 1.35000 was from BIOS.

lol sorry it's not air, fake water sounds better

without llc (assuming it was off not auto) your load vcore would have been much less than 1.35.

EDIT: lets start again from the beginning, Will you be using prime or IBT with updated linkpack to test stability?

Though is it better to turn my LLC on then? and go for a nice and safe 4.5Ghz?
Next week i am getting a custom waterloop, perhaps i should try pushing it a little more then, and keep it on 4.5ghz for now.

LLC reduces vdrop on load, so whatever you set the vcore in the bios it should be very close to what it really is under load. The good thing about these asus mobo's is the fact that they have 4 settings to determine the level of vdrop, some have more vdroop than others and the various llc settings help to match load volts.

Wise choice in keeping it at 4.5 for now until better cooling is obtained. 4.8ghz should be able to be achieved with good temps, however determining what volts would be need to get there is another issue.

What I would say is that, before you get your custom water kit, I would ty and find a near stable overclock. Try and mess around with the sttings I'v provided in the previous posts and see whther or not you can get it stable at 4.8ghz. Just remember the cpu throttles around 95c (I think) so try and keep the temps below 85c. Also I would choose prime blend for stability testing the chip.

Go over the thread in my sig 'The Sandy Stable Club', myself and many have posted info there that may help you on your quest. My quest for 5.1ghz is also there from the 1st post. Good Luck

EDIT: just don't go crazy when stability testing these chips. I have found these cpu's to be quite tolerant, however, if you keep on testing them under load for considerable amount of time then it will degrade just like any chip. These chips and many others are made for overclocking, however, the way stability testing softwares stress the cpu, no other programs or apps do the same. so be wary and dont constantly stress it. Just find your 24/7 overclock and leave it at that.

EDIT: to get my cpu stable, I mostly likey, altogether, ran prime for around 24/36hours.

Ill stick to 4.5 for now, and see if i can push it to 4.8 / 5.0ghz, next week with watercooling. Thanks for the help for now mate!
