I remember that one, but if you are going to do that, you would be better off getting that XSPC Rasa kit. For the stock H50,H60, or H70, you can just a pair of Gentle Typhoons in push/pull for a bit of better performance.

I had H50 push/pull, Load temps were 70C for i7 920@3.8GHz 25C ambient temp & 30C case temp

The Coolermaster V6GT was noticeably better, Load temps were 66C, so I was able to squeeze 100MHz more.

Bottom line, If you're not concerned with space/size issues I would advice you to get a high end air cooler instead of any cheap liquid cooling units.

If people are still looking for a review, Maximum PC had a great review in their last issue, comparing the new Kuhler and the H60. The Kuhler won (again the fan speed thing I believe, since they went for performance, not sound), however the H50 was close enough in performance to both to negate any benefits for the price.

I'm running an H50 right now until my (real) watercooling setup comes in. I've had it on my 2600k and can run up to 1.38v or so before temps start skyrocketing, but I don't need that to hit 4.6ghz stable. I've been running 4.3ghz 24/7 stable with prime loads not going over 65c, and in gaming I don't go over 51c, with a high room temp around 25-26c. I've been very happy with it's performance, and it was WAY better than my old CNPS9700 on the new SB chip.

That being said, I couldn't resist the urge to go full custom watercooling, so now I'm returning it and using that money towards a new setup

I have a CoolerMaster V6 GT and they short out Sandy Bridge motherboards hence the H60.
