Product SKU setup is not up to me to determine.

I know when it gets set up (roughly), but to actually have it listed and available for sale is entirely dependent on the seller.

I ended up sending mine back to the retail for refund. Im sorry, but these new propellor blade fan desings are loud. I love the heatsink, but the fans are way too loud. I wish msi stuck with the typhoon style fan blades like the ones on the twin frozr II. Im dissapointed, because i was really looking foward to owning a couple of these cards

I dont know, maybe i just got a bad card. The fan was abnormally loud. Had a weird kind of harmonic noise, almost sounded like an electric motor that is being stressed to hard. Not like the tf2, where all you can hear is air moving.

The card I got also ran kind of hot for a 560. Like I said, I may have gotten a bad card but i cant afford to try and get another one. I might either end up getting a coupld twin frozr II models, or one of the asus direct CU models. I love msi cards, but I dont think the tf2 model has vrm heatsinks like the hawk does.

MSI ALEX, is there any feedback you can give me on this matter? I know with twin frozr II 570 it says on the box 8.4db quieter, but the new 560 hawk didnt have anything like that on the box. Is it supposed to be quieter?

Watercooled hawks?

I cant spend that kind of money trying to make a card quiet, when it should be quiet to begin with. I mean, not to be disrespectful to MSI or anything, but when I saw twin frozr III I was thinking "OMG its twin frozr II but better!!" And the twin frozr II is quiet. Even at 85% it not that loud at all.
But the twin frozr III, atleast on my 560, had a really loud abnoxious noise to it.

Thing is, I sent it back to the retailer for refund, because I was afraid to ask for a replacement. I was worried I'd just get another card of the same design that was just as loud.

Alex, did I get a bad card? Or is the twin frozr III just louder then the twin frozr II??

I have to admit the TFIII is loud when it ramps up! Even in Crysis I cant get it to go over 55C and 40% fan speed.

its because msi is more concerned about how a card looks than how it performs. Funny how the fan blades almost look like hawk feathers. Well now i know what to look for when buying a video card as far as fan blades. I have 4 scythe gentle typhoon ap-15's in push pull on my radiator and those things are near silent. Thats the design you want in a fan, typhoon style fan blades.

These new propellor blades are loud. They are almost the same type of fan blades they put on those high powered delta fans. What a shame. I was really looking foward to these new cards but ive spent way to much time and money trying to keep my system silent.

Apparently the GTX560-ti Hawk comes with a Mimi HDMI output.

I don't think the cooler is the problem, look at the 6970 Ligthing review, it can be quiet, if I had to guess I'd say MSI has the card set to ramp up the fans more than needed.
