Why not get the Asus Crosshair IV Extreme over the Formula?!

And instead get yourself a cheap quad core 955 or 945 and wait for the Bulldozer to be released! Sounds like money is no option with that build, so go to town with the 1100T and then upgrade in 1-2 months to a Bulldozer biggrin.gif

Well the reason I don't go with the Crosshair IV Extreme is it won't fit in the Corsair 600T case. The case is ATX and the Extreme is Extended ATX.

Try getting a cheaper processor now (i.e. 1055T or 1090T, maybe even x4) and brace youself for the 8-core "bulldozer" processor coming soon (your board could run it)
Why would I do that? The 1100T doesn't coast that much anyway.

You said you wanted a big power supply for all those future expansions you might put in...

If you are gonna add alot of future expansions, you might want the bigger case/motherboard. SLi in a regular ATX motherboard is pretty cramped for space. It is much easier on a extended atx. Also, RAID array on a mid tower is sometimes cramped for space. It is much easier on a full tower.

Everything you are buying will fit in your case. It is just something to think about.

I have a ATX and a full tower. With x2 video cards in SLi, a PCI sound card, a PCI networking card, additional USB ports attached to the back, and four hard drives i'm out of space. :-(
