Crysis flashing trees problem

Thread Starter
Hi again all (: Well it seems that my GTX295's problem has solved magically, so i played crysis a loong time, but while playing like 20 mins i see something strange, and they are the trees.

They do not stop appearing and disappearing repeatedly, u can see my specs @ signature, i have the 955 @ 3,6GHz, its just a test thats why its not in my sig.

Do u guys think they are artifacts? that the GFX card is damaged? i dont know.. it works perfectly in other games without artifacts or something like that, metro, cod2, 4, 6, and black ops, GTA4, Assassins creed brotherhood, nfs shift.. etc

My drivers are 267.24

I uploaded a vid showing the problem and the graphic preferences, i hope it helps. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=W5KQHEBI

I had this issue on every machine that I have played this game with. I guess that it has something to do with AA. I'm not sure about any fix.

You can afford a GTX295 but not a copy of Crysis. rolleyes.gif

Might not want to go mentioning pirated games on OCN... TOS no-no.

As for how to fix it, you can try doing a clean install of both the game and your drivers. If that doesn't fix it, I don't think there's a real way, aside from, you know, buying the game and trying a legit copy.

I have never found a fix, it is a very common problem though.

It's something to do with sharpening, reduce sharpening either on monitor or in ccc/nvidia control panel. The monitor cannot cope with too much sharpening therefore causing it to flicker.

Downloading the vid now to see if it is the same thing.

EDIT: just looked at it, seems as though it maybe something else.
