Played BF2 for 1st time since I've been playing BC2, what a difference

Thread Starter
BF2 v1.0 was the 1st online game I ever got into, played it a lot last year

Played it today at 1280x9xx and it all looks squished on my widescreen.

It looks old/a lot less detailed for sure, but was fun, I played for 10min, and said I have to stop and move on, went and played BC2 for 30min....I have to do the same thing when BF3 comes out.

The menu music makes me think out waking up drunk after timing out of a game, starting drinking and playing again....

BF2 was released in 2005, BC2 was released in 2010. BF3 will be 2011/12..

I doubt the difference will be the same as going from BF2 to BC2

Yeah they released the 1.5 patch with the boosters. Must have sucked to have of bought those packs, only for them to be released later.

I did this too, trying BF2 again. It was definitely a change, just made me more excited for BF3.

OP..... since playing BF2 last year was your first online experience, then it's needless to say you don't know how much BC2 is lacking compared to the BF series. 1942, BF2, 2142.... epic games.
