I not looking to overcock your ram a cheap pair of $70 dollar 1600 G.skills will do the trick, and G.skill is just as reputable as Dominators, without the OC capability and high price tag
post #14 of 17
Hey don't totally count out G.skill for an OC just yet! I have the Ripjaw cl9 1600 series, and although I cant get 2000 out of it or anything like that, I have managed to get it to 1600 at 7-8-7-20-30-1T which is pretty good for RAM that doesnt really even like to run at 1600 on an AMD and particularly my ASUS board from what I've heard. Like I said, nothing groundbreaking, but for the casual OC'r it can serve them very well.

Why RMA? I thought RMA is for warranty-like issues[worksmanship] and not acts of god and accidents?

To be honest, everytime something goes wrong, everyone is always thinking "RMA RMA RMA" even when it is not the manufacturer's fault.

It's limited warranty, not applecare!

They're not blaming it on the manufacturer, but they won't be able to tell if its user error or a manufacturing defect without visible damage. Calm yourself bro.
