If you look at the user's nickname (on the left) you will generally see AMD / Intel, ATI / NVidia logos.
AMD + ATI = Supergenious
AMD + NVidia = Smart, but spent to much on their video cards
Intel + ATI = Trying to appease everyone
Intel + NVidia = Overpaid for mediocre performance to stroke their epeens
First thing you SHOULD do is decide if you want a performing system for minimal cost, or if you want Intel.
Second thing you should do is post in the appropriate forums (you took the right step by posting in the AMD - General). Stay out of the Intel - General forums, it is full of vultures waiting to prey on new people.
Enjoy the site
Make sure you check out newegg.com for some systems and setups then decide from there.
In all seriousness you should go with what you want, you don't NEED to spend your entire budget because who doesn't want to save money while still meeting their needs?!Edited by ajmidd12 - 4/11/11 at 7:35pm
