Upgrade? Or not worth it?

Hi everyone, here's my current rig:

Intel Core i7 920 D0 2.66Ghz OCED @ 3.99Ghz idle 38-40C, Full load 75-78C
Noctua NH-U12P SE2
Asus P6T Deluxe V2
eVGA GeForce GTX 570 Fermi 732MHZ 1280MB GDDR5 @ 800/1600/2000Mhz
G.Skill 6GB Tri-Channel 12800 @ 1528MHz
OCZ Vortex 2 Extended SandForce 60GB
Cosair TX750TX
CoolMaster HAF932
W7 Professional 64-bit

And my question is, I would like to upgrade my computer for better gaming experience but I cannot see any upgrades that would be reasonable.

The only thing that I can think of atm is GTX 570 SLI, but in order to upgrade this I need to get a new PSU (I tried installing GTX 260 as dedicated physx card but my computer would show black screen and resetted my BIOs).

GTX 570 SLI would cost $350 + 200(1000W PSU) ~ = $550

Also, the very last PCI-E spot to install the 2nd card is very close to the PSU, it's about an 3/4 inch away from the card, if it were to be installed. I'm afraid it would run into overheating problems since my ambient temperature is pretty high.

Also as you can see, my CPU is running pretty hot atm. I feel that I might need to upgrade my heatsink but to which?

I was thinking Corsair H70 but I've been reading mixed reviews.

Perhaps I should leave this rig as it is since performance/price ratio is very low for upgrading at this point?

What are your thoughts on this?

Let me know, thanks

Honestly, I don't see any reason to upgrade. You could probably invest on better cooling for the CPU but that's it.

The H70 performs a couple of degrees lower than the NH-D14 and Silver Arrow (which are the two best air coolers)

This is OCN. You can always upgrade something

You dont need a 1000w PSU for SLI 570. Way to much overkill.

570 SLI at load pulls 410w everything else you have is about another 150-175watts that equals 560-585w full load. Why that 260 didnt work is beyond me but it wasnt your power supplys fault.

My vote is get another 570 and sli it.

Thanks for the input guys

@tryagainplss: Yeah, I believe Corsair H70 would be a good choice since it seems like my CPU is getting hotter and hotter and as summer comes around my ambient tempeature will rise even more

@Krymore: Wow, thanks for the info. I didn't know that 750W was capable of running 570SLI. If that's the case, 570 SLI would be my idle upgrade. Hmm, now I wonder why my GTX 260 didn't work. I think I'll have to try and get that working before I pick up another 570.
