[Newegg] Open Box GPU's out, 580/560/6950's - Page 2

I have never purchased an open box item. Same return and warranty as new or does it vary? Prices look tempting.

same warranties but different return policies. Newegg offers their open box return which means you can return it for refund only within 30 days. If your going to buy, then buy quick, all the good cards are going fast. Looks like the 580s and 6950/6970s are gone already

It should be the same with the manufacturer. It just might not include all accessories.

The MSI Twin Frozr II GTX 580 is still there.

I believe the return should be the same, except that you can only get a refund naturally, not another product. Warranty should still be intact.

I think that's why most buy open box, no? so if it doesn't work, it can be RMA'd and have a working unit sent to you.

Edit: Asus GTX 580 DCII sold

Guys, do they post open box items daily or only certain days of the week? I might start keeping an eye out for these in the future.

Has anyone on here ever had a bad experience with an open box item? I haven't heard of any. I got my crosshair formula as my first open box in Jan, and have loved it ever since.

Btw, thanks for the heads up OP. You have potentially saved me a huge chunk of change

Yeah, I just did, purchased a Sapphire HD 6950 2 gb last week and it's faulty right outta the box. Artifacts straight from the bios. But luckily it's still under full warranty so I may just rma it.
