Reservoir port question

I'm currently leak testing and I have my ek v1 res configured with one of the bottom radial ports as inlet and the bottom axial port as outlet. The reservoir has a flow diffuser in the middle dividing the two radial ports. However, my inlet and outlet are on the same side of the diffuser. Will I see any significant improvement in temps if I use the inlet on the opposite side? I have it configured the way I do for aesthetic's sake - want the other port to be out of view.

you wont see and temp diffrence as long as you dont vortex

Like Onions said you will not see any kind of temp difference. Reservoirs and the combination of ports that you use will not have any kind of effect on your temps whatsoever. They are just there to make filling/bleeding easier and to look purty.

Yeah that's what I figured. Was just curious if more res circulation would have any noticeable effect, but I guess eventually all the water will reach equilibrium. If there were any nice looking passive reservoirs available that weren't aluminum, that would be fun to experiment with, but that's for another day.
