How badly does my cpu bottleneck my gpu?

Well looking at benchmarks, and 3dmark scores it seems my scores are always lower than some of the tested rigs, so I'm curious as to how badly i'm being bottlenecked,(see rig)

what's your score? cuz mine is 4300~ 915/1930 with the cpu below

That's a well balanced system you have there.

Open up MSI Afterburner and under the gpu usage graph, check to see if that gets to 100% while playing a game.

Phenom II's are gpu bottleneckers, unfortunately. I used to own one before this 2500k, and it was absolutely choking with a single 580. On this processor, no gpu is bottlenecked.

your CPU aint doing that bad. personally i find that AMD's perform really good. My 965 used to be great when i had my gtx260 216 core a while back.

But i do have to agree with the post above. Intel's do perform

4523- http://i54.tinypic.com/vb0v6.jpg but i'm not entirely sure if this score is from when i had my gpu oc'd, might have to retest when i get home.

and as for gpu usage i've seen it go from 80%to 100%, but never under that

Is that score of mine what i should be getting out of a gtx 560?

3D Mark 11 isn't a good way to test for a bottleneck.

The GPU tests are designed to isolate the gpu from the cpu, so the results are typically unhindered by the cpu performance.

3D Mark Vantage on the other hand is more cpu bound than 11, and will typically show a cpu bottleneck in the first test very well, and somewhat in the second test.

In that test an overclocked 560TI should get between 22-25k I believe depending on the cpus ability to push the card and how high your overclock is.

i have a 965 at 3.8Ghz with my North-bridge at 2.8Ghz and i only get about 4.7K

Pic below is with GTX570 @ 800Mhz @x8
