So I was like, woah, we've had this discussion before haven't we.
And I was like yeah, we have wow thats crazy.
And then I was like oh yeah, remember this?
I spent $182.50 per gpu and $180 for my cpu.
If you'd like to do some real benchmarking I'm cool with that. Got any decent games we can run? I'd love to prove me point further.

No your score is bottlenecked from your cpu, the only one you should be concerned about is the gpu score really.
To compare a stock i7-950 with a stock Gigabyte model that runs 950 core gets 21k, which would only improve once the cpu is overclocked.
To test it in the games you play simply use MSI Afterburner and have it track gpu usage when you play, also have it track fps. If your lowest gpu usage coincides with lower fps than your cpu is bottlenecking your games and causing lower fps because of it.Edited by BallaTheFeared - 4/13/11 at 3:08pm
