Need help with my first build - $750 Budget

What I Plan to Use the PC for
As mentioned above, my budget is around $750. I want this to be a solid gaming PC, although I am definitely not aiming for anything crazy. I really don't care if I cant run something like crysis at high settings. I am however, concerned about the ability to livestream while playing something like SC2 at medium settings, without my framerate dropping below 30 fps

*UPDATE*
Alright so now I am at a crossroad, I can go with either of these set ups

Case

CPU

GPU

PSU

HDD

Ram

Mobo

Optical

CPU Cooler

Current cost: $809 + S/H

---------VS-------------

Changes in:
CPU +$75 change from Phenon II X4 to i5-2500

Mobo +$14

GPU -$74 Change from 2GB 6950 to 1GB 6850

Total Cost: $828 + S/H

Clearly, In going for the better processor I would have to make a pretty big sacrifice on the video card, is it really worth it?

The last option for me would be to spend an extra $100 and get the 2GB 6950 anyway. That would sum up to $898, which is a bit higher than my original budget, although I can be convinced to go this route if anyone is willing to explain why it would be better

Thanks for all the help everyone

not really sure what that comes to, but it should be a good start for you.
The video card is very flexible since the one I picked is so highend, compared to some other options that would do a good job for you.

Thanks Thrasher, I have gone with most of the things you have said apart from the HDD and Board, will this make a difference?
umm the board you have listed is an intel board, and you have an amd cpu.

I would just go with the motherboard I listed, it is a very good board. Plus Asrock isn't that good.
Are you planning on going with intel?

Mobo you have selected Haris isn't an AM3 socket board, it is Intel.

You may want what Thrasher suggested. Or go with a Gigabyte board, GA-880GMA-UD2H would be fine for you.

Oh, sorry about that. Updated.

Edit: Also decided to change the GPU, how does it look now?

Don't be sorry it's why we are here This way we can ensure you are getting compatible parts.

*EDIT* your setup looks very good, if I may suggest maybe swap the video card for a Sapphire Radeon HD 6970, this way you can guarentee it will be good for awhile.

Swap the PSU with a Corsair GS800 or 700.

You will also need an Operating System, make sure you get Windows 7, it doesn't matter if you get Home, Professional, or Ultimate as long as you get 64bit not 32bit

first off lolz
now lets get to bussness, so a couple questions: are you planning to over clock, and are you looking for future proofing this rig (i.e you want this rig to last for more than 3 years)?
and how many gig of ram do you prefer?

here are my suggestions
Phenom II x6 1090T
Samsung sinpoint f3 1tb hdd
Nzxt M59
XFX radeon 5670
g.skill 4gb ram
corsair 750 watt psu
asusm4a89td pro

$740 total
and $700 after mail in rebates

I think you would get so much more performance out of a 2500k for only a little more money.

I also second a Corsair PSU
