No doubt, but people should learn to do their own visual matches.

Okay Thanks, i know i can do my own visual matches, but then again, try yo find the CNDC version of the xfx 6970 in the EK cooling configurator, thats why i asked, i dont want to buy €180's of waterblocks that are useless to my setup.

Thanks OverSightX for confirming

Sorry for the late reply.

I can confirm that the v2 block fits on the v1.1 revision of the xfx 6970. Not only does it fit, but this **** works great.

The acrylic block is nice, I'm quite happy with it.

I was on my phone, logged on just to help ya. Try returning/exchange for the PCS block.
Edit here PCS++ pcb:

Hey fellas a bit offtopic and a noob question but in this image what are these white squares on the board? There are 8...4 above the GPU and 4 to the right of it as well.
The reason I ask is because I opened my xfx 6970 up for the first time as I suspected there was a buildup of dust blocking airflow as my temps were getting pretty high and as suspected I was correct.
Removed the dust and had max temps under load go from 95 C down to 63 C. Here is where my question arises....when I took the card apart to get to where the dust was I noticed these white things displayed in the picture but they looked pretty beat up to say the least. I haven't had any issues just wondering what their purpose is and why they look I guess the best explanation I can give is it looks like some kind of thread(i didn't want to touch it) and it seems to be coming loose around the edges as well as coming unthreaded as tight.

Thermal pads. smile.gif For waterblocks like EK, they also provide that as part of the package.
