Thread Starter
I'm going to build a computer over the summer, here are the parts that I've chosen. Feel free to critique where needed.

CPU:
Intel Core i5-2500K Quad-Core Socket LGA1155, 3.30Ghz, 6MB L3 Cache, 32nm

mobo: ASRock P67 Extreme4 (B3)Socket 1155 Intel P67

graphics: PowerColor (AX6950 2GBD5-M2DH) HD 6950 2GB DDR5 ATI Radeon HD 6950 Chipset 2GB DDR5 Dual Dual-Link DVI/HDMI/2x Mini Display Port PCI-Express 2.0 Graphics Card x2 (Crossfire, and I'm going to flash them both with a 6970 BIOS)

RAM:G.SKILL Ripjaws X + Fan Series DDR3 2133MHz (PC3-17000) 8GB (2x4GB) Dual Channel Kit

Power: 850 corsair psu

Overdoing it a bit with the ram kit, overall a solid gaming/editing build.
Yeah, Ripjaws X CL7 1600 Mhz. RAM would suffice smile.gif

If your building it over the summer, you might as well get a z68 board instead of a p67

None do.

8x/8x is fine, not even 1% loss.

Honestly this build is very well planned, stable on every part, all high-end quality parts.

I wouldn't change anything to be honest, great PC! Enjoy it once you build it!! rolleyes.gif

Can anyone recommend some sleek black cases around 100 bucks? I'm planning to overclock this to around 4.6ghz, and if anyone was wondering I'm going to get a Cooler Master Hyper 212 to help me accomplish that, thanks.

Why would you get all of those premium parts and then skimp on the CPU cooler?

The CM HAF 922 is $100, and I honestly cant even say one thing that I dont like about that case. Maybe if I had to say something it was that it doesn't have a removable mobo tray. It is an amazing case, and is, for the most part, all black.
