I've done some reading and it's 3 to 4 times faster they are claiming. The biggest gain on next gen cards have been around 33% faster. The Keplar is going a different route as stated before, less power consumption, running cooler, getting more performance per watt.

Both AMD and Nvidia will release their next cards around November-December time as they trickle out the series. Usually start with their mid-range cards and hit the flagship single gpu card around January, as they compete.

Side note for some of the other posters, please stay on the OP topic or start a new thread just as a courtesy for those reading. It's annoying when you read a topic, decide to open the thread and then have to sift through other off topic garbage that doesn't pertain to the reason you started reading the thread in the first place.
