Ok well that was not what I was expecting. He doesn't have a triplex dna but merely an extra little something stuck to a chromosone. Not the same. I was expecting a triplex dna helix. That would have been really cool to see. Oh well.

I am surprised you think that all that matters is comforting people.

Hey everyone, don't ever worry about anything. Nothing bad ever happens.

If its bad then it would die out fairly quickly and just be a mutation, not evolution right?
A mutation is not necessarily good or bad. It depends on how natural and sexual selection act upon it. Evolution can be good, bad, or neutral.

Guys, please stop misinformation.
Nobody said otherwise. Their bodies do indeed age more quickly. Tralala never said that it actually makes them chronologically older.

If it does not benefit the individual they will not reproduce because of early death due to the mutation. Either way good or bad mutation it is still part of the evolutionary process. So yes this is a example of evo.

See above. A mutation does not need to be beneficial to be passed on. It can be neutral.

Actually, no. Triple-stranded DNA is very real. I'm preparing a presentation on DNA topology for my genetics class. It's called H-DNA. See page 5-

The human cell has 46 chromosomes. 23 from each parent. So what does he have an extra chromosome? That's what down syndrome people suffer from.

No, not for real. There is a similar kind of disease but it doesn't really manifest exactly as portrayed in the movie Jack.
