sapphire HD4650 overcloacking

Thread Starter
hi

i got HD4650 - 512mb ddr 2 64bit version, was wondering whats the "safe" GpU,Memory core frequency at default its on 600mhz gpu / 500 core

maximum : 712 / 650 i tried at max cloak settings but it freezes ,and artifact appear

is there any owner that can suggest safe stats that i can adjust without crushing

currently its on 670/540 - temp : 46 in system, 65 while playing

Try overclocking the core only, as it will have a bigger impact on performance. And it's safe as long as the temperature of the card stays below 80c. If 700/550 would work, then I'd probably settle with that.

Since every card is different there is no setting on high clocks that can guarantee you stability. You will have to test it yourself.
