Distiller/de-ionised water - Page 2

You will still need an extra rad, but for the moment, you could just see what temps are going to be like under load with overclock. If they are a bit high I would just back off the clocks and voltage a bit until you could pick up another rad.

No. I had a thin 360 rad and it coped with i7 930 @ 4.2 1.3875 volts. and 2 480s in sli 850 core , I had a tx 750 then ax1200 (that killed plater drive and ssd ) then ax 850, still had the i7 930 and 480gtx @ 850 cores, 80 deg on i7 56 and 62 on gpus.
Got thick 480 rad in 700d now. and runing a single 580 @ 900 core i7 @ 4ghz gt ap15 1850rpms. Only 3 fans hooked up.
You should be fine with 360 and 3 gt 1850 rpm fans on i7 and 580.
Your water block is less restrictive too Im geting a full water block cover for gpu soon.

Cheers guys will most likely give the single 360 rad ago first. Otherwise its a few days work to get a second slim 240 rad in the roof. Need to fix the mesh panel, one part isnt secure.

Not like i havent got enough liquid spare

De-ionised is the best and most pure - $$$$$
Distilled water is nearly as good as DI and has a high purity level - $

If neither of those two can be found, RO (Reverse Osmosis) is your last safe bet.

Regardless of the water purity of the above three, remeber that once you put the water into your cooling loop, it has touched the metal of your RAD, pump impeller, and water-blocks. Now the water isn't pure 100% anymore. Thus, the water has become conductive again.
