Hey..

I just mounted all my new stuff and was ready to fill in the water.

I then filled it with water, turned it on (only pump on) and it worked fine, then I filled more water and turned on again but then I saw a leak, at the pump (the fitting was not straight on) fixed that and now it's not working. Tried everything. There's power on the PSU, thats for sure...

I just tried to put in a screwdriver in the pump, gently pushing the blade, and it now works...

It makes some noice, I'm not sure if its normal.

Kinda. But right now the radiator / pump is just on the floor, testing it. might be why

With the amount of issues report on OCN forums about this 720/750 pump, XSPC/RASA needs to get their pump supplier hopping on the quality and testing of each unit before they are shipped to the customer. This has not been a few random and isolated instances. Other forums have been reporting noise and pump failures as well.

Well, ive set an ultimatum. I will decided what to do next after this.

If XSPC haven't contacted me in the next 3 days or remplacement is negative from them. I will try to endure it or get a new pump/res.

I also had a noisy pump. I contacted xspc and they sent me a new pump which was also noisy. I think its just a crappy pump. Well I'm running 50/50 antifreeze and the pumps are silent. It does add a couple degrees compared to just distilled water. I'm running it like this until I can afford a better pump. Then its back to straight water.

Your fix makes me think that it wasn't the pump.

Strange.. could it be really air in the pump that causing this ? ive heard from some other dude in another forum that his pump do the exact same sound as mine.. also i hear from others that after some week they don't hear it anymore.. dunno what to do now.

For the first week my pump was silent. Then it just started rattling. The replacement pump I got made noise too. Damn rattling sound. So I tried antifreeze I'm guessing since its thicker than water its pretty much muffling the noise.

I've tried water with the res out of my case with a tube from outlet to inlet sitting on a foam pad and they both rattle. Fill em with antifreeze and they're quiet.
