Pump Placement in a 690 II

My computer specs are in the signature bit.

I am planning to add two 240 radiators to cool a CPU and GPU (full cover block) in the 690 II case. One rad goes at the top and one goes at the bottom.

So the only place for the pump and reservoir to go is in the 5.25 bay.

I have been looking at some XSPC bays, here and here. I would like the pump to be quiet was well.

Which pump are you going to use? You linked reservoirs for two different pumps. The X20 one won't be very good for both your rads plus two blocks - not enough power. The second one you linked is the same one I have, works quite well with the mcp355 pump. Yes it is very quiet, I can't hear it over my fans unless I put my ear to the case.

Are you asking if it will fit? Because the X2O 750 Dual 5.25†Bay Reservoir Pump mentioned has the pump built into the reservoir already.

For what it's worth...I'm looking to do the exact same thing in my 690

Thanks for the response,

I know both methods will fit because the pump is inbuilt or can be inbuilt to the reservoir, I am just looking to see what is the best for my planned loop.

I want to make sure is that enough radiators (one rad is an XSPX RX240 and the other is a Black Ice Stealth) to cool an overclocked GPU and CPU, so is it?

Yes. I have a 240 and a 120 cooling my cpu and gpu loop. You should be fine, just make sure your pump is good enough like I said.

Why not use a ddc and mount it in the drive bays? Then use a t line

I am already using two out of the four 5.25" bays (fan controller and DVD drive) so it might be a bit of a squeeze getting it in there and a reservoir as well.

Its a possibility it may work out cheaper to.

DDC is quite a small pump. Why use a reservoir when a T line will do the job as well.

You can take a look at what I did with the CM 690 II advanced case and see if that helps. I used a resevoir pump combo.
