Keep in mind the picture of the EL wire is a 4 second exposure. With all the room lights off and my monitor on it's barely visible.

I already wrapped the whole window with EL wire and that's the effect I got. Right now I'm looking at SMD LED strips. I found one that is only 4mm wide and 2mm tall. Hopefully I'll have them in a week or so. When I get this edge lighting nailed down I'll post a FAQ for it so people can learn from all my mistakes.

For the moment I've put an NXZT LED strip around it, but it hasn't made much of a difference. It'll have to wait a while until I can be bothered to make my own LED strip to put around it ~ I think my TEC project will be taking over most of my time in the immediate future...
