New Vegas loading problem

Thread Starter
When I try to load my main gamesave I play on, It will start loading then when its done the loading screen wont go away. I can hear the pip-boy open and i can walk around and hear my guns shoot but i only see the loading screen. When i load a old game save, it works fine.

I dont want to lose my data. Anyone know how to fix this?

I updated my graphics drivers.
I verified the game cache on steam and it was fine.

I'm using my sig rig.

This is what my screen looks like (except it flickers) when i can hear sounds, walk around, ect..

I say find out where the game saves your . . . game saves copy them to a different location and reinstall the game.
You should be able to find that info on google im sure.

Try what Dan17z said. If that doesn't work then I'd say the file somehow got corrupted, maybe the game crashed mid-save?

I wasnt able to save the files. Oh well, atleast its a fun game. On the plus side, I found the music files for it so i can listen to something while I reinstall the game.

This did not fix the problem. Now every game file I save wont load. Only old files will load properly. I really need help with this. I barely got to play it and now it wont even load games.

anyone who also has this problem i finally figured it out.

its not a "loading" problem. More of a game bug that i hope is fixed on this next dlc update. To fix it turn your anti alasing off.

Had mine at 8x and even though my graphic card can handle it just fine, it wont load the screen.

Spent too much time trying reinstalling the game (about 10 hours) for such a stupid fix.
why do so many games suck at anti alasing? like CoD:BO removing the 15x option and messing me up for the longest time because i still had it set to 15x and the new max is 8x
