Looks identical to the h70, brackets and all. Made by the same people?

Yes, but who cares, antec told them to make it better and slap an antec logo on it. BAM new awesomeness. I cant wait till I have some play around cash.. this thing will finally take my rig to new heights. 2.8ghz on a D0 is killing me... I know it can do so much more..

I expect an h70 with the same fans would have the same performance. If I had the choice I would get the h70 and some better fans to go with it.

There are a couple of good reviews of fans for radiators here:

Antec sent me the Kuhler for reviewing, and the product is good, but have some minor details. The Radiator is as thin as the H50, but the pump is the H70 one. The tubes are imo better.

The initial reviews put this thing performing better than the H70.. IMO, the blatant lack of creativity in design is what it is lacking. If you are going to try to beat the H70 and market it that way, why make them look so much alike is my question?!?

Why does no one ever pop open the block and show us what's in there? Can't be all that hard, or would there be an uncomfortable silence as they realize they only differ by the logos?

Probably because they would lose all the fluid in the system. The device is not meant to be disassembled and its probably a good deal more difficult to put back together than the heatsink of a GPU. ;P

I doubt that would be any hindrance to a determined person with a screwdriver in hand.

The hydro units though used antifreeze mixes as coolant due to mixed metals. Likely the same here, so there's added hassle apart from popping blocks open.
