Cheapest way to LEGALLY upgrade Windows XP into Windows 7?

Thread Starter
I have Windows XP home premium running on the bootcamp partition of my MBP, and I kind of want to upgrade it to W7. The OEM Version is like $100 on Amazon, and that is the entire OS, which would work fine I think. However, I am wondering if I can get it any cheaper. I have a $25 Best Buy gift card too if that will help at all smile.gif

So what would the cheapest way be?

Sign up for a university program where they give MSDN software for free. That's how I got 7 to all my PCs wink.gif

Are you enrolled in highschool or college? If so check and see if they have MSDNAA or offer discounts for software. If you have a .edu address you can get it for $29.99 here http://www.overclock.net/online-deals/980253-windows-7-professional-29-99-upgrade.html

You don't need to be in USA.
I'm in Dk and my university has MSDN contract, so I get Windows, VS and so on software for free. Check if you have something like that wink.gif

(EDIT: It's epic really, got 13000$ value of VisualStudio for free! 13 thousand bucks!..)
