Razer Naga - Page 3

I've also owned the naga and my experience is a bit different...

I have small fingers, but wide palm, i claw grip...

It is a great mouse, i think its design is the best around lookswise and it is comfortable. But after 6 months of use it stopped working (dunno if its the infamous razer wiring problem).
My problem arised when i requested help from razer and its proof/receipt of purchase, which i didnt have (the mouse was a gift). (if you read they warrantee its only valid if you have the proof of purchase)
In the end after 2 months of 'harrashing'(in europe there's a legal 2 year warranty on electronics) the local reseller, they were kind enough to exchange it for me.

Im not trying to stop u from buying it but i would suggest u cling tight to the proof of purchase. Just what i learnt from this fail experience towards this maker, i've had better treatment from other brands.

Thanks, i see that you had/used a R.A.T 7 what did you think of it compared to the Naga? to the left of the right click and left click buttons on the Naga are those 2 smaller buttons, could they be programmed to like skip a song or other functions for media players? as i use Xion media player and would be helpful if i had buttons for specifically those actions so that i dont have to minimize a game just to skip or replay a song

With the Naga being kind of small what do you think about it? can it become uncomfortable after several hours use or gaming? do you the normal or Molten version?

When you say get warm, does it get uncomfortably warm? or is it not that bad

I didnt like the rat 7 at all. The left thumb rest didnt swing out at a very large angle and every time i pressed a button with my thumb the rest got pushed in anyways. I didnt like the rat7 also because I found it very small for my hand. Even having the palm rest extended out- that made it uncomfortable. I thought I was going to enjoy it and be very comfortable but i was mistaken. I did like the pinky rest option it had- sometimes I find myself using my pinky to slow movement and add drag, but it was nice to have.

The two little buttons next to the left click can not be programmed. Only for forward/back on webpages, click, scrolling, sensitivity, single key.

I use my Naga all day long and my hand doesnt ache or anything. Its comfortable once you get used to, as the curve in the mouse fits with your palm for the most part. I have the normal naga.

No it doesnt get uncomfortable warm, just weird.. Your hand being on the mouse makes it warmer than what I expressed.

Okay thanks for the info, shame about the 2 buttons on the Naga, then again you have the other 9 buttons smile.gif could they be used for something like i wanted?

Thinking about the wireless one, for 2 reasons - 1 its bigger then the normal model (i know not a lot bigger) and 2 the colour can be changed and i like that option smile.gif

Though i think a Molten Epic version would be great as that one looks cooler then the normal version smile.gif
