ASRock P67 Extreme4 vs Gigabyte P67A-UD4??

Which mobo should I go with? I plan getting the i5 2500k and overclocking it as high as I can get it. My CPU fan will either be the Thermalright Venomous-X or Water cooling.

Have not recieved my Asrock board yet,be here friday
Based on LOTSA feedback and reading i think you would like either board but the Asrock is a little better board.

Yeah, I know that the ASRock has 3 PCI 2.0 Slots too. I'm just wondering if they would perform similar or if one is better for OC'ing that the other considering the price difference.

Both are equally good. The UD4 is almost flawless on the last beta (before F3 final, which is buggy). Also doesn't have the idle freeze bug that seems to be plaguing asus and some asrock boards (as long as you aren't using cstates at high overclocks).

I have read about this also and it was fixed with a updated bios. So if you choose the Asrock board the only one you want is Asrock P67 extreme4 B3 The B3 at the end is the key it is the latest release and does offer a 2 year warranty if registered before June.

The earlier release had the P67 sata2 problem the same as most early P67 boards had from all manufactures.
At lest this is the way i understand it all.

Notice I said "some?"
And as the poster above me said, this was addressed in a BIOS update.
