Well If I had something that was remotely credible or a source I certainly would post it..... but probably in the news section... Came across this in another forum. And thought I'd share it with my fellow OCN members. I mean I dont even have the criteria to post in the rumors section..... Just thought the numbers made sense so why not give everyone else a look..... Sheeesh

500 USD for a 690? LOL, yeah right, not even close unless they are POS and like two 660s on one PCB.

Where's the source link.

And just to note. NVIDIA would never put out a line of numbers that were easy to follow.
It will always be difficult to determine performance by their current designator. IE, Releasing GTX330M cpu's. What the heck is a 300 series NVIDA GPU, Or a 8800GTS, wait a minute, I meant to say 9800gtx, wait a minutes, GTS 250. Seeing how there is no quote, unless it's a bonified NVIDIA employee, I think it's just mis-information.

It's a die shrink, so it's possible they have a larger profit margin.

I hope the 680 is faster than the 580 for $400, that will be great. 2GB, I like it.
