nope, and there never will be...its just the way the sound card is designed...sorry to break it to you

I am thinking of getting the STX. Will the builtin amp from the card affects anything from a powered speaker like the Swan D1080MKII08?

EDIT: Found out that the amp only applies to the port intended for headphones =)

Thanks.

I read on that in previous posts. But in other forums, users suggest to Creative it changes its drivers to provide a kind of cheating that fixes the problem.

For example, an option that allows the sending of audio to all the ports and we choose wich would be muted.

Can we hope?

well I have been following the creative forums ever since the XFI TIHD came out, and they specifically stated it is not possible to fix unless they make a new card...so no, there is no hope

Does this also happen in Auzen X-Fi Forte 7.1?

Or does this sound card, like Asus Xonar, allow the switching between both, headphones output and speakers output, as sound source by software?

I'm fairly certain the Forte is the same way as the Creative cards.

I'm pretty happy with my HD, Sounds quite nice. Not sure if it's worth upgrading from that card since it is quite pricey.

I have a question for other Titanium HD users. I have Sennheisser PC-360s connected for gaming. What would be the best settings to use for great surround? I currently have it set to headphone, with the CMS 3D thing on for elevation etc but I was wondering would enabling DD Live 5.1 improve the surround on this headphone?

i use to have that same setup...pc 360 with x-fi tihd...i asked on the creative forums what settings should I input so I'm not missing out on anything...they basically said stock settings are pretty good already...i personally had mine on stock, but cranked up my crystalizer to 100%...it just sounded like it gave more bang with crystalizer at 100%....but when i messed with any other setting, it just didn't sound good

hope this helps

Have you tried enabling DD Live 5.1 to see if that made any difference(dont have my pc with me right now)? Or does that just output to the optical out? When I put the crystalizer on 100% for blackops the explosions distort even at low volume. So I guess maybe it's blackops fail sound.
