Thread Starter
Hi all. So my current card is in my sig. A gtx 460 that I've oc'ed to 895.
I'm thinking for my birthday to upgrade my gpu and I heard the 6950 is good and can be unlocked to 6970. Is it worth buying or sli my current card?

Can you currently max out any game at 1920x1080? If you can't the 6950 is great. I would though, if you can't max them out, get another for sli. If you ever want to have more than one screen, then I would go for the 6950 because sli'd 460s won't really give you enough power. If you decide to get a 6950 though, make sure you get a referenced design one, that is a 2gb so you can unlock it.

Hold out a bit.
A GTX 460 is perfectly fine for today's games.
