I know many many film professionals who ONLY use Macs because of Final Cut Pro. Most of them wish they could use windows based PC's but are forced to use Macs because FCP is what they were taught to use in film school.

I think the real hurdle is making it run on Windows. It wouldn't be a simple recompile, it would almost certainly require some monster foundational changes in the software. Unless massive sales would result, it's probably not worth the expense.

Or it's more personal preference to which application you're either familiar with or find easier to work with. OH NO WHAT'S THIS people using what they want because they like it, OH ****.
