I don't notice any acceleration at all. I have mine off, and did a ruler test to measure a slow movement, and then a fast one - they both moved the same distance on the screen.

Being against wireless mice because they weigh too much (I personally don't think they do) and they cost too much (I got my G700 for $50 new) is kind of silly.

That's like saying you don't like mechanical keyboards because of price or the font on the key caps.

I'm not picking on you or anything, you have your own views, which is fine by me - I just don't want the OP to think wireless mice are garbage.

Then you did something wrong cause the sensor does have positive acceleration. If it doesn't bother you that's fine but its there.

Valid points. I agree. I just bought the G700 cause I have a thing for mice and cause Im on a quest to find the perfect one

I did the acceleration test on the G700 and its definately there. It wasnt atrocious on my Razer Scarab mousepad.

Weight isn't a problem for a lot of people especially those that like high dpi settings but price is always a factor for everyone short of Trump

I used to think that weight wasnt a problem and that it was just a concern of elitist looking for trivial flaws. The G700 changed my mind. Its way to heavy. My wife sleeps better at night cause she knows that if anyone breaks in we can just blugeon them to death with the G700. Im pretty sure if I threw it off a building the impact could cause the sun to be blotted out for years to come, killing all vegetation and ultimately ending all human life. Now that I think about it, Im almost certain that in the bible it states that God used water to destroy the world the first time and the next time will be g700 rain

Most elitist mice allow you to adjust the weight, I get as heavy as I can though, my mouse doesn't leave a 4"x4" square on my mousepad ever with my dpi settings

Weak wrists maybe?

It is heavy I'll give you that, but its not like you have to hold it mid air to use it. I find lighter mice harder to control because they move too easily.

Personal preference I guess.

@SoFGR
Before you start trolling again, have you tried the G700 at 333/500/1000? Do you even have the mouse to begin with ?

@cuad and Derp
There seems to be no noticeable acceleration on the G700 once its turn off at setpoint, aside from doing the synthetic testing how do we really tell if there is acceleration? I've been swapping around my mices lately and I dont really notice ANY difference at all in terms of pointing accuracy unless of course WMO and IME also has the same acceleration as it seems all the mouse I have here comes with acceleration in your books.

This sums up a few ppl here in OCN and in a blind test none of them can tell the difference.

As long as the accleration is consistent it shouldnt matter right?(to an extent) You would naturally adapt to the mouse and the acceleration wouldnt be a problem. I think that the 9500 is fine as long as its on a hard pad. Problem with that is hard pards arnt the most preferred type of mouse pad. The accleration noticed on a cloth pad is wayyyyyy to much.

haha nah I think my wrist are good. I was slightly exaggerating. The G700 is an awesome mouse dont get me wrong but for FPS it seems a bit exhausting and I prefer cloth pads for FPS. As I stated above the acceleration on cloth is just to much
