haha nah I think my wrist are good. I was slightly exaggerating. The G700 is an awesome mouse dont get me wrong but for FPS it seems a bit exhausting and I prefer cloth pads for FPS. As I stated above the acceleration on cloth is just to much

I've tried the Xai which is known to have crazy acceleration on cloth pads and some mices with AV9500, compared them on a cloth pad vs hard pads and I dont see to notice any difference at all, even If i level down the DPI to what the WMO/IME can offer still there is no difference for me and Im glad that i dont find such trivial issues.

I'm jealous, I wish I was as uncoordinated to the point where I couldn't notice the problems either.

I noticed a huge problem when I went from a G5 (which apparently is a crappy mouse) to a G9x. My CSS skill severely declined. It improved a bit when I switched to a hard pad. Ive never really regained my skill at that game though, could be lack of interest I guess.

Well the G5 is meant for more of a palm grip, and G9x is more of a claw gripper. Or maybe I'm wrong.

That's why I went from the G5 to the G700 because they are both palm-ish types. However I find myself clawing up more on it in FPS games. Probably a hint i should get a claw grip mouse for gaming haha.

I just bought a G700, after having the scroll wheel on my G9 die.
It was kind of an impulse decision, I wanted the Xai, but they didn't have any, so I chose the G700.

The wireless is nice, I just leave the receiver in my laptop, and use it exclusively wired on my desktop. Not that I notice any difference between wired and wireless.

The extra buttons are nice, especially in SolidWorks or HyperMill.

Overall, a fine mouse. Just as suited to Quake 3 as CAD/CAM. Wireless performance is indistinguishable from wired.
