Weapons and maps balanced for controllers feel much different with a keyboard and mouse, and in-game menus especially tend to suffer when optimized for a simpler control scheme. I'm also curious as to how their dedicated server setup actually works, since it's supposed to be dynamically based around a single users campaign or some such, something that won't really work with a standard map rotation setup. I'm guessing something like what L4D used is likely, albeit a bit more powerful to accommodate a larger number of players.
I don't care about the graphics for the PC here...I care about the core experience - and from the PC perspective, we've heard alarmingly little about this game. I have high hopes for this game - but I also had high hopes for Hellgate: London.
I agree 100% with Weapon and gameplay balance when it comes to controls.. Keyboard & mouse need games to be optimized for its precision and ease of aiming and no FPS shooter has done that recently. Crysis 2.= headshot each kill no recoil. COD series same ****.. Funny thing is most player don't give this aspect of a port any attention when for me this is the biggest thing thats been ruining the experience for current fps games. Maybe because 80% people using mouse and keyboard just aren't good enough and are happy finally getting kills in games..
